OUR CONCEPT

Urban Pilates is more than a Pilates studio — it is a wellness club designed to elevate the way our community experiences movement and self-care. Our space blends luxury aesthetics with intentional wellness offerings to create an environment where guests can strengthen their bodies, reset their minds, and build meaningful community.

 

In addition to mat and reformer Pilates classes, Urban Pilates will feature a full juice bar and recovery experiences including sauna, float therapy, a Himalayan salt room, and infrared recovery. Guests will also have access to an onsite licensed therapist, reinforcing our commitment to supporting both physical and mental wellness.

 

Every detail of the space has been designed to feel restorative, inspiring, and welcoming — a place where wellness becomes part of your lifestyle.

MEET THE
FOUNDER

KENDRA
HARRISON

Urban Pilates was founded by Kendra Harrison, a passionate wellness advocate and Pilates instructor committed to creating spaces where people feel welcomed, empowered, and supported in their health journeys.

 

After experiencing the transformative impact Pilates had on her own life, Kendra envisioned a space that offered more than just a workout. Urban Pilates was created to be a place where movement, mental wellness, and community intersect — allowing guests to prioritize both physical and emotional well-being in a beautiful and intentional environment.

 

While Kendra is the founder, Urban Pilates is truly a family vision brought to life with the support of her husband, Slim, and their daughter, Kourtney. Together, they share a deep passion for wellness and community impact. Slim and Kourtney are also Balanced Body Comprehensive Certification candidates, actively training to further their knowledge and contribute to the Urban Pilates experience.

 

As a family-led wellness club, Urban Pilates reflects their shared commitment to creating a space where the community can move, heal, connect, and grow together

EXPERIENCE

Kendra brings a thoughtful and purpose-driven approach to Urban Pilates through her training and dedication to the Pilates method. She is currently completing her Mat Pilates Certification through BGPI and pursuing a 500+ hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Balanced Body, one of the most nationally recognized Pilates education programs.

 

Through her training, Kendra is developing a strong foundation in the classical principles of Pilates while also embracing modern approaches to movement, mobility, and functional strength.

 

Her vision for Urban Pilates was also shaped by her desire to increase representation and accessibility within the Pilates community, where diversity has historically been limited. Through Urban Pilates, Kendra hopes to cultivate an inclusive wellness space where individuals from all backgrounds feel inspired to invest in their healt
